Digital photography is all bout the digits and pixels its not like traditional methods. This is the part that controls the quality of the photos. The higher the pixel count is the better the clarity will be. Its easier to enlarge photos because it maintains the quality.

The image depends on parameter to have good quality.

The Basic format of digital photography:

You may have heard of people talking bout pixels in your TV screen. It happens that, that's the same thing with digital photo. Pixels can change the actual image and quality. Don't use high pixels with small photos because then it can mess it up. You should use high pixels with big photos or if your enlarging one.

The only reason it's not good to take a small picture with a high pixel count is when you get so many pixels (they look just like dots) in such a small area they become compressed and don't look as good. When you use a high power with a small photo, the pixels will make a noise to other pixels. If you use small amount of pixels the noise won't be as loud. With big or large photos its best to use high pixels count because the pixels (or dots) won't be so close together or compressed.

Once you understand the basics of the works you need to learn and train to do the real thing and get best quality photos so you can be a professional.

Mastering the Controls of Your Camera:

When you buy something there is usually an instruction manual with it. Don't rely on it to tell you everything you need to know. Its good to take the camera and experiment with the abilities it has. Doing this helps you to get used to how it works. Not all cameras are the same.

Learn to make good use of the Light:

When you take a photo don't look directly into the sun. It will give the photo a glare and can cause damage to your lens. People who are professionals will take photos when there is little sun out which is dawn or dusk. They still get the photo they want but don't get a glare. If you need to take a photo when there's lots of sun then do it in the shade or provide shade for it.

Use of the Flash:

If you have too dark of photos, then you need to use a flash. It is one of the various buttons on the camera. Before you take the picture, you might want to make sure the light is evenly displayed on the photo. If you don't and you take the photo anyway, you may get shadows or some other quality that you don't want.
